Message	block guards are debated on how much good they do on the d16 there are many people running 300-400 whp not running block guards and seeing no issues, besides block guards hinder the cooling capacity and cause hot spots near the head gasket and cause it to blow. but i guess a blown head gasket is better than a fucked block. but i will not be running one.
